What We Believe About Giving
We at RTTBC believe that giving to support the ministry is not based on a percentage of our income. We believe as the scriptures teach, that we should give as we purpose in our hearts, for God loves a cheerful giver. God’s word teaches that we are steward and it is required of steward that they be found faithful or trustworthy. With that as our guiding principle for giving, we believe that giving should be a matter of the heart. We also believe that tithing is not a requirement for New Covenant believers, but we can tithe if that’s what we choose to do. We believe that our giving should be based on our love for God and our gratitude to Him for shedding His blood to save us.
